Refund & Terms of Use

1. Educational Use Only

AniMoods® courses and materials are designed for education and personal development.
They are not therapy, counselling, medical treatment, or crisis intervention.
If you ever feel unsafe or in crisis, please contact local emergency services (UK: 999 / NHS 111; USA: 911 / 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or reach out to a qualified mental-health professional.

2. Ownership & Access

When you purchase a course, you receive a non-transferable personal licence to access the digital content.
All materials remain the intellectual property of ANJ Consultancy Ltd (trading as AniMoods).
Sharing, reproducing, or distributing course material without written consent is prohibited.

3. Refund Policy

Because AniMoods courses are delivered digitally and access begins immediately after purchase, refunds follow these consumer-law protections:

• UK (EU-aligned digital-content law): You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not accessed or downloaded more than 20 % of the course.

• USA (federal & state digital-goods standards): Refunds are available within 14 days if less than 20 % of the course has been accessed.

• Once either limit is exceeded, or the 14-day period passes, the right to cancel ends.

To request a refund, email hello@animoods.co.uk with subject heading of Emotions Decoded Refund with your order number and the email address used for purchase. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 working days.

4. Safety and Appropriateness

AniMoods content may explore emotional-health topics. It is intended for self-reflection and skills learning, not for the diagnosis or treatment of mental-health conditions.
If any exercise feels uncomfortable, you are encouraged to pause and seek appropriate professional or peer support before continuing.

5. Legal Compliance

These terms comply with:

• UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Digital Content Regulations 2020

• US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidance on digital goods and refunds

All purchases are governed by UK law under the jurisdiction of Scotland.
For US buyers, these terms meet minimum federal protections for digital-content transactions.
